Meet Dr. Stanisic

ROOTS

Dr. Stanisic was born in North Carolina and moved to Florida at the age of one. She grew up in the Southwest Florida area and loves the beautiful weather & beaches we all enjoy in Florida! As a teenager she was touched by the life changing experience she had after getting braces, and from that moment her dream was to one day be a dentist so she could help change people’s lives. At the age of 19 she began working as a dental assistant and has been involved in dentistry ever since.

GROWTH

She graduated from USF with a B.S. in Biomedical Sciences and a minor in Public Health – which is part of her passion for health & nutrition. Following graduation, she returned to North Carolina to continue her dream of becoming a dentist. She is very grateful to have been accepted to the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree and fulfilled her dream of becoming a dentist.

Following graduation, she returned to sunny Florida and put down roots with her family and began the next journey of creating her own dental practice. Lake Dental is the culmination of nearly 20 years in the dental world and a childhood dream of helping people with their smile!

When she’s not in her practice, Dr. Stanisic enjoys spending time with her daughter, Angelina, and her husband, Nik. She also enjoys spending time outdoors, cooking, yoga, and traveling.
